Role overview

The purpose of this role is to lead the implementation of the Commercial and Business Development strategy, in line with the Exams department’s three-year plan and the broader Sri Lanka country plan.  The post holder will coordinate activities to work towards a range of commercial and business development objectives, thereby sustaining existing accounts and creating new businesses.  The position will be a core part of the in-country Exams management team.

Role specific knowledge and experience

 University Degree or relevant professional qualification.

  • Significant experience in a key account management role.
  • Significant experience sustaining and growing a product/service aligned with strategic priorities for income and impact.
  • Demonstratable experience collecting & analysing client/stakeholder feedback and using the data to identify business needs and obstacles; works to resolve them.
  • Experience in managing and leading medium-sized teams.
