Short Films from BFI Flare, London’s LGBTQ Film Festival. The programme includes drama and documentary, poetry and dance exploring and celebrating a range of LGBTQ experiences. These films are about finding out and standing up for who you are.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with internationally acclaimed writer and producer Matt Jones

INDUSTRY WORKSHOPS
Highly regarded television writer and producer Matt Jones leads a programme of workshops offering insights into script writing, production and the wider industry. Calling on his extensive experience working in TV in the UK and USA, Matt will explore the craft and techniques of scriptwriting and give advice on developing projects through one-to-one sessions.
20 June: Workshop sessions 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
21 June: One to One sessions with Matt (selected through previous day’s workshops) 10 a.m. to 1p.m.

Matt Jones is a talented and sought-after British screenwriter and producer who has worked extensively in popular drama programmes for television networks in the UK and USA. Matt’s television work includes Dr Who, Torchwood, Shameless, the American remake of Skins for MTV, storylining for Coronation Street and script editing for Clocking off, Linda Green and Queer as Folk.
