It is vital to recognise the problems young girls face and attend to them as one community. This is the time to spread awareness of gender equality faced by girls worldwide and furthermore, to ensure that every girl has the right and access to education, medical care, legal rights and protection from discrimination. In celebration of International Women’s Day British Council will host a panel discussion on the topic “Women and Human Rights”.
