About University of Greenwich
The University of Greenwich has approximately 350 students from Sri Lanka studying foundation, undergraduate (Bachelor) degree, and postgraduate (Master’s) degree programmes.
The University of Greenwich awards scholarships of £1,000 to students from Sri Lanka studying full time programmes that last for at least one academic year. The scholarship is only available for full-time students.
At the University of Greenwich we set high standards for teaching quality. We are proud to be ranked first in London for teaching excellence with many of our programmes ranked in the national top ten in this category (Sunday Times University League Table 2012).
In addition to delivering top class teaching, the university provides an excellent experience for students. The University of Greenwich has been ranked first in London for student satisfaction with teaching (The Guardian University Guide 2013).
The university continually invests in developing its three campuses. New buildings and improved resources include a teaching centre, multi-purpose sports hall, engineering research block, skills laboratories and libraries. We are committed to providing the best learning environment for our students so they have all the necessary resources to succeed in their studies.
Our degrees are designed with industry boards to ensure that our graduates are equipped with the cutting-edge skills and knowledge they need to secure a position in their chosen profession.
Many of our research areas have been judged as having carried out research of the very highest quality – world leading in terms of originality, significance and rigour. A research breakthrough at the university's Natural Resources Institute, for example, has been named as one of the ten most important discoveries to be made at a UK university over the past 60 years.
Our International Student Advice Service is dedicated to providing international students with information, advice and guidance throughout their studies.
