Vesak Full Moon Poya Day is a significant day for Buddhists and is celebrated around the world. Vesak lanterns are a significant part of this celebration. Marking this special day, the British Council library at Orion City will be giving an opportunity for all members and Orion City staff to take part in a lantern competition. The three most attractive lanterns will be selected and the winners will be given special prizes. Registration will be free for Library members and non-members.
